The Commonwealth of Virginia Learning Center (COVLC) is an online learning platform hosted by the State of Virginia. 勛圖惇蹋 has a domain on the COVLC that houses online training modules from various 勛圖惇蹋 departments. The COVLC is used by 勛圖惇蹋 to host online State of Virginia Mandatory training courses and other training courses from various 勛圖惇蹋 departments.
Access the COVLC
The COVLC requires a unique Login ID and Password.
The COVLC Login ID and password are NOT related to your MIDAS ID.

- Click on

- Click the highlighted words login ID in the sentence "Forget your login id or password?" found under the blue login button
- Enter your Last Name and 勛圖惇蹋 Email Address in the specified fields
- Click on blue button Get Login ID
- Check your 勛圖惇蹋 email
- You will receive your Login ID in an email from this address COVLChelpdesk@dhrm.virginia.gov
- The screen will return to the Login portal - Click on the highlighted word 梯硃莽莽滄棗娶餃 in the sentence "Forget your login id or password?"
- Enter the login ID you just received by email and click the blue Continue button
- Check your 勛圖惇蹋 email
- You will receive a temporary password in an email from this address COVLChelpdesk@dhrm.virginia.gov
- The screen will return to Login portal - Enter the login ID you received and your temporary password you received
- You will be taken to the Update Password page to create a permanent password - In the Current Password field enter your temporary password
- In the New Password field create a permanent password, the minimum length is 14 characters and must contain an upper case, lower case, number and a special character
- An example of an acceptable password is COVLCTraining#01 - Retype your New Password in the Confirm New Password field
- Click on the blue Save button
- You will now be logged in and at the main COVLC screen
If for any reason this service does not work and you do not receive any emails please submit the "Request Credentials" form or email covlc@odu.edu to request your credentials.
New Employee Trainings
The COVLC houses two important trainings for new employees:
- The New Employee Orientation (NEO) module which is a self-paced online orientation module.
- New employees will receive a welcome email with instructions within their first week of employment from TMC Training. Dont worry if you do not receive this email on your first day! It takes a few days for your account in the COVLC to be created automatically by the State of Virginia.
- Are you a full-time employee? Your Benefits training module access link and pertinent information will be sent to you directly by the Benefits department. This module is not contained in the COVLC.
- 勛圖惇蹋 - State Mandatory Training Curriculum
- All new state employees are required to complete several state mandatory trainings in the COVLC 60 days after receiving their login id and password. These trainings have been packaged as a curriculum for ease of access. You will receive instructions in your welcome email on how to access this curriculum.

You must use the Search Bar to find courses on the COVLC. Once logged into COVLC, locate the search bar near the top.
If you are searching for Managing Virginia Program courses, type "MVP" and all related courses will appear. You may also search by individual course name.
No. You do not have to register for any courses hosted on the COVLC. These are asynchronous, self-directed courses you can complete online at your own pace.
Yes, once you have successfully completed your online course, click on the View Certificate button to download or print.
