How has being a Chemistry graduate from ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ helped shape your professional success?
For me, having that technical background always gave me an added advantage and a step up. I'm on the commercial side of things, but when issues come up about what chemicals are purchased. I would be aware that there are other derivatives of those chemicals. It's easier to propose things. I think I use my education every day, but my technical background is more of an asset that I have in my back pocket.
What advice would you give to current Monarchs in Biology?
I love ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ, I got an excellent education. ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ has a more structured programs at the time I went to school. The programs at ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ are solid and that if students decide where to go based on the program they decide to enter, I think they'll chose ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ.
