We are excited to announce the Call for Proposals for the upcoming Թϱ Career Summit: Reimagining Work. Redefining Readiness. to be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 9:00AM-3:30PM in Webb Center.  The Թϱ Career Summit is a one day mini-conference that allows recruiters and Թϱ faculty and staff to interact, learn, connect, and engage with one another. It is critical for higher education and the workforce to align as we prepare students for life after graduation through meaningful experiences both on campus and beyond. This conference addresses critical topics impacting college recruitment and career development and fosters engagement with the premier institution of the Hampton Roads area.

We invite faculty, staff, and employer partners to submit session proposals that address the theme, “Reimagining Work. Redefining Readiness.”, collaborating to equip students for an evolving workforce. Sessions may be directed to a faculty/staff audience, employer audience, or both. Session time slots will be 50 minutes in length. Time slots will be assigned after proposals are selected and confirmed. To enhance your session proposal, we encourage you to incorporate the  as a guiding framework.
