Introduction to Clinical Research Bootcamp 2025

All medical students, residents, faculty, and staff interested in clinical research are invited to attend the Introduction to Clinical Research Bootcamp 2025 on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Waitzer Hall, Room 300. Registration deadline is Aug. 14.

This FREE comprehensive bootcamp covers essential research skills including IRB navigation and compliance strategies, research study design and clinical trials, AI applications in medical research, systematic reviews and meta-analysis, and hands-on data analytics workshops. Choose from two afternoon specialization tracks: AI Research Accelerator (featuring ChatGPT and Claude for literature reviews, prompt engineering, and natural language processing) or Big Data Discovery Lab (covering NIH datasets, NHANES analysis, and administrative healthcare databases).

The program features expert faculty from the Department of Medicine and includes continental breakfast, catered lunch, and all materials. Participants will gain practical skills in research navigation, study excellence, technology applications, and evidence mastery through interactive workshops designed for all experience levels - no prior research background required.
