Hello, Monarch Community,
Do you have gently used or new items you’d like to donate? Help support our students as they transition to campus for Fall 2025 by contributing to the Intercultural Swap Stop—an initiative that provide items to students who may need a little extra as the semester begins.
Donated items will be shared during the Well-Being Block Party on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 6:00PM – 8:00 PM at the Student Recreation & Well-Being Center (SRWC).
We welcome items such as:
School supplies
Small houseware or kitchen items
Room décor or storage organizers
Toiletries and personal care products
Clean, gently worn clothing (e.g. casual wear, light jacket, professional attire; no undergarments, please)
Drop-off Dates, Times, and Locations:
August 18 – 26 | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
OIR – 1070 Webb Center
SRWC – 4700 Powhatan Avenue
Have large items or furniture?
Please send a photo and your contact info, so we can coordinate student pick-up directly.
About the Swap Stop:
Hosted by the Office of Intercultural Relations, Intercultural Coalition, and University Chaplains Association, the Intercultural Swap Stop is part of the Well-Being Block Party—a collaboration with Recreation & Wellness, Women & Gender Equity Center, Student Health Services, and Counseling Services.
Please join us on August 28 to connect with students, colleagues, and campus partners.
Thank you for helping to make Monarch Nation a home away from home!
